BY KEITH NUTHALLTHE BOOMING demand for beer in Russia has encouraged the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to lend Euro 7.9 million to help expand and restructure a Turkish-owned bottling plant. The money will be spent on OJSC Pokrov Glass Plant, in northwest Russia, which was bought by Turkey's Anadolu Cam last March. The company plans to improve quality standards and efficiency before expanding capacity, including setting up a second furnace.
