ROMANIA TUBE DUTIES

THE EUROPEAN Union Council of Ministers has approved European Commission plans to re-erect anti-dumping duties against two Romanian producers of certain seamless pipes and tubes of iron or non-alloy steel, declared illegal last year by the European Court of Justice over administrative mistakes. The duties will be suspended while Petrotub SA and Republica SA uphold price undertakings.
