ROMANIA TOLD TO REFORM UNFAIR INTEREST TAXATION RULES
October 1st, 2014Romania has been asked by the European Commission to give foreign EU companies the same rights as Romanian businesses regarding taxing their interest income. Romania resident legal entities are taxed only on net interest income, while foreign EU organisations are taxed more heavily on gross interest income earned in Romania. https://www.anaf.ro
