REVISED GUIDANCE ON CHILDRENS MEDICINES RELEASED BY EMA

THE EUROPEAN Medicines Agency (EMA) has released further guidance on developing paediatric medicines. Taking account of the latest science, the advice focuses on administration and dosage forms; excipients in formulation; modified release preparations; and dosing frequency. There is detailed guidance on administering medicines through feeding tubes and also inhalation. Comments are requested by March 31.
