RENAULT TO RAISE EURO 400 MILLION FROM EIB TO DEVELOP ELECTRIC VEHICLES

FRENCH car manufacturer Renault is likely to receive a Euro 400 million low interest loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB) money to develop electric vehicles. Renault is planning to spend Euro 1 billion on this project said the EIB, which could ultimately involve retooling. The investment would also improve the environmental performance of conventional Renault vehicles.
