THE EUROPEAN Commission is to coordinate a second set of DNA tests across the European Union (EU) this spring, similar to those conducted last year following the horsemeat mis-labelling scandal, with results being published by the end of this July.It would be the second time the Commission has organised DNA tests across the EU to find out if horsemeat is being fraudulently added to products labelled as beef.
