THE AMERICAN Red Cross and the UN's Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) have launched a joint US$7.5 million project to restore seafood and finfish aquaculture and wild harvesting in Indonesia's Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam province, which was devastated by the 2004 tsunami. The scheme will promote responsible and sustainable management of fisheries and aquaculture through technical and planning assistance plus training. *http://www.fao.org/tsunami/
