POLAND BALTIC STATES NUCLEAR COOPERATION

THE PRESIDENT of Poland's National Atomic Energy Agency Jerzy Niewodniczanski has told Polish paper Zycie Warszawy that his government was interested in cooperating in building and operating a multi-national nuclear power plant with Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. As well as providing power, the plant would also be a useful site for nuclear experiments and personnel training, said Niewodniczanski.
