The brutal anti-crime crackdown promised by the Philippines’ President-elect Rodrigo Duterte may result in the European Union (EU) withdrawing its Generalised System of Preferences Plus (GSP+) tariff-reduction scheme from the country, weakening Philippines textile and garment exports.
