BY CARMEN PAUN, IN RIO DE JANEIRO THE WORLD'S energy ministers are pondering policy responses to 'The Future We Want', a document summarising recommendations from the United Nations (UN) Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20) which ended June 22 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It invites nations which have not yet done so to consider rationalising 'inefficient fossil fuel subsidies' by removing such market distortions.
