(PCC), a worldwide US-based manufacturer of complex metal components sought approval from the European Commission yesterday (Nov 14) for its plan to acquire control of fellow American's, Dallas-based Titanium Metals Corporation (Timet). It produces titanium melted and mill products, while Oregon-headquartered PCC manufactures structural investment castings, forged components, and airfoil castings for aircraft engines and other applications in various industries.
