THE ITALIAN government and the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) have launched a US$1.5 million project to restore food production in the West Bank and Gaza, that will rehabilitate livestock sheds damaged in the ongoing civil conflict. The project will also restore pasture through reseeding, fencing and constructing watering facilities.
