AIRPORTS in Pakistan are adding security measures as they face the constant threat of terrorist attacks. The terminal facing the largest threat is Bacha Khan International Airport, in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, which has been a centre of a series of terrorist and insurgent attacks. As a result, the airport has multiple layers of security and can only be reached by crossing roadside checkpoints jointly manned by police, army and air force personnel, and by passing manual and electronic searches at the airport’s congested gates. ...
