Pakistani meat exporters are optimistic that the Iranian government will lift an import ban imposed in early 2014 on Pakistan-produced meat following a meeting on Wednesday (April 22) between the country’s trade ministers.Khurram Dastagir Khan, Pakistan’s commerce minister and Mohammed Reza Nematzadeh, Iran’s minister for industry, mines and trade met in Tehran at a scheduled session of the Pakistan Iran joint trade committee.
