OPENING OF NEW BERLIN AIRPORT POSTPONED INDEFINITELY

THE OPENING of the new Berlin-Brandenburg Airport has been postponed indefinitely, with the airport operator’s chief operating officer Horst Amann declaring that the latest (delayed) opening date October 27, this year, “is no longer viable”. An airport communiqué cited Mr Amann saying “it is too early to discuss…a new opening date”. The airport has already been hit by significant construction delays.
