OLYMPIC ASHTRAYS

JOURNALISTS covering the Olympic Games have been the unsolicited recipients of 40,000 portable paper ashtrays distributed by UN Environment Programme (UNEP) to prevent writers discarding butts. "Since it is not possible to stop all journalists from lighting up, we would like to make sure they do in a way less detrimental to the environment," said UNEP.
