BY ALAN OSBORNAN INCREASE in the amount of fraud and irregularities reported to European Union anti-fraud unit OLAF will be noted in the organisation's next annual report, which is about to be published, an OLAF official has told Accountancy Age. This would follow a speech by EU budget Commissioner Michaele Schreyer to an OLAF seminar in Bucharest, Romania, where she claimed there is now a greater willingness by EU employees to expose allegations of wrong-doing.
