OLAF INVESTIGATIONS MANUAL

BY KEITH NUTHALLTHE EUROPEAN Union's (EU) anti-fraud unit OLAF has published its detailed investigations manual, after a European Parliament hearing in July called for its work to be governed by an EU regulation. The aim of the manual, said an OLAF statement, is to make sure its investigations cannot be challenged in court, and in this regard, it clarifies the rights that should be respected regarding whistle blowers, witnesses and anyone else affected by an inquiry.
