OECD SAYS PERSONAL INCOME TAXES ARE RISING IN RICH WORLD

PERSONAL income taxes have risen in 25 out of 34 Organisation for Economic Cooperation & Development (OECD) member developed countries over the past three years, said an OECD report. Rates have risen, while tax-free allowances and tax credits have fallen. The steepest rises were in the USA, Portugal and Slovakia, with the average OECD tax burden on employment incomes increasing by 0.2% in 2013, to 35.9%. *http://www.oecd-ilibrary.org/taxation/taxing-wages-2014_tax_wages-2014-en
