NZ EXPORTS UP IN SELECT MARKETS AS PRODUCERS RECOVER FROM DROUGHT

New Zealand has recorded bumper beef exports to Saudi Arabia and Indonesia in the first four months (October 2013 to January 2014) of the meat export year, according to figures from industry body Beef and Lamb New Zealand (BLNZ).Saudi Arabia took 861 tonnes of New Zealand beef in the first quarter of 2013-14, continuing on last year’s gains.
