NON-FERROUS METAL SECTOR WELCOMES CETA DEAL

The non-ferrous metal sector in Europe and Canada has backed the signing of the European Union (EU)-Canada Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), welcoming its potential positive impact on imports and exports.
“CETA can be considered as positive for the EU metals industry and yes, it will be easier to trade with Canada,” Elena Vyboldina, international trade and economy director at Eurométaux, the umbrella association for the EU non-ferrous metals industry, told Metal Bulletin.
