NO-ANTIBIOTICS

A MAJOR American catering firm announced it will switch to using only antibiotic-free chickens in its meals starting in June. Bon Appetit Management, which runs nearly 150 US university cafeterias, will purchase chicken raised without the routine use of non-therapeutic antibiotics and also work with ranchers to reduce the amount of drugs given to cows and pigs.
