NEW TERMINAL OPENS AT TIBET’S SECOND LARGEST AIRPORT

OPERATIONS have begun at the second-largest airport terminal in Tibet, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has announced. Located at Nyingchi Mainling Airport, in south-western Tibet, the new terminal is 10,300 square metres in size and is designed to handle 750,000 passengers and 3,000 tonnes of cargo annually.
