A NEW team of European Union commissioners, impacting on metal industry-related policies for the next five years, was unveiled today in Brussels. The incoming Commission president, Jean-Claude Juncker, announced his team, who will be charged especially with promoting job creation and economic growth across the EU.To this end, Juncker has proposed appointing some influential commission vice presidents (also commissioners) charged with coordinating broad areas of Commission responsibilities, and the commissioners who are in charge of them.
