NEW E-CERTIFICATES MAY BOOST NASCENT EU IMPORTED ORGANIC MEAT TRADE

Europe’s nascent organic meat import sector has been offered a boost by a new digital certification system, that the European Commission says will make the European Union (EU) “a global leader in traceability and in the collection of reliable data on trade of organic products”. In force from April 19, the new EU electronic certificate system is now verifying all imported organic products.
