NEW CHINA AIRPORT EXPANSION PLAN RELEASED

THE CIVIL Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has released plans to build 74 more commercial civilian airports by 2020. In a detailed blueprint that builds on earlier announcements under the country’s 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-2020), the CAA says that work on 30 airports now under construction will continue and 44 new civil aviation projects will be built from scratch, bringing the number of civil airports operating in China to 260 by 2020.
