NETHERLANDS LEASING TAKEOVER – EUROPEAN COMMISSION

THE EUROPEAN Commission has concluded an overlap in Netherlands fleet leasing and management services is not sufficiently serious to block a planned takeover of international leasing and body repair company Athlon by a subsidiary of Holland's Rabobank. Its De Lage Landen Translease leases vehicles in the Netherlands, as does Athlon, (also in Belgium, Luxemburg, France, Germany and Spain).
