DUTCH digital textile printers Ten Cate Advanced Textiles BV and Color Wings BV have won a 'European Business Award for the Environment' from the European Commission for "developing a digital technology for printing and finishing textiles using exactly dosed drops". Brussels said this improved "both environmental and economic performance" in textile printing, giving the companies a 'process award', for new environment-friendly production technologies and processes.
