MONEYVAL PRESSES FOR MORE BENEFICIAL OWNERSHIP INFORMATION

THE COUNCIL of Europe’s anti-money laundering body Moneyval has called on its member jurisdictions to widen beneficial ownership information available about companies in their territories. Moneyval’s 33 members include some smaller European Union (EU) member states such as Malta and Lithuania; non-EU European countries, including Russia, Ukraine and Monaco; UK crown dependencies Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man; and others. *http://www.coe.int/t/dghl/monitoring/moneyval/Countries/Country_profiles_en.asp
