MOLDOVA DUTY

THE MOLDOVA government has announced that it will impose temporary safeguard duties on cheaper toilet waters, shampoo and conditioners to protect its local producers from a surge in imports. Toilet waters worth less than US$60/litre will attract 15% duty, while shampoo and conditioners priced under US$2.50/litre will attract 20% duty.
