MINISTERS AND MEPS STRIKE DEAL ON AIRPORT CHARGES REGULATION

BY KEITH NUTHALL AN AGREEMENT has been forged between the European Parliament and the European Union (EU) Council of Ministers on a regulation laying down how airports can set user fees and charges for passengers. The parliament's transport committee negotiated the agreement and insisted upon rules telling all carriers to highlight the taxes, charges and fees contained within their price on all websites and tickets.
