MEXICO COMPANY CLAIMS USA BROKE NAFTA RULES WITH STEEL PRODUCT DUTY

BY LEAH GERMAIN MEXICAN steel company, Maquilacero S.A. de C.V., has accused the US Department of Commerce of breaking North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) by imposing unfair antidumping duties on certain metal products exported to the USA. The company has filed a complaint with the US section of the NAFTA Secretariat, which will establish a panel review to adjudicate the case.
