FUELLED by a booming construction sector, the Mauritius paints industry has been experiencing major growth in the last two years, with the island country's two leading paint manufacturers - Mauvilac Industries Ltd and Sofap Ltd - experiencing significant boosts in sales. And with the industry becoming increasingly successful, it is also now largely focused on being sustainable, too; with both companies - and others in the country - boasting a wealth of eco-friendly products and procedures.
