Just over half of company chiefs in firms hit by ransomware have admitted to paying off the hackers to gain back access to crucial business data, the latest annual Radware report reveals. The “2018 Executive Application and Network Security Report” says this is the first year that the majority of company executives - 53% - reported paying a hacker's ransom following an attack to unlock critical business files.
