MACEDONIA DEAL

THE EUROPEAN Union (EU) has struck a food trade deal with Macedonia, which - if confirmed - will see Macedonian import duties on a range of EU meat products annually fall to half their current level by 2010, before being scrapped altogether by 2011. Affected products would include poultry meat, bovine offal and sausages.
