IT'S the world's biggest casino. With 1,150 gaming tables and 3,400 slot machines, the US$2.4 billion Venetian Macau Resort opened its doors last month [August 28] in Macau, a special administrative region (SAR) of China near Hong Kong. "Never before has such an entertainment centre occurred in the history of Asia," Las Vegas Sands chairman Sheldon Adelson told a press conference at the launch.
