LONDON COUNCIL ADOPTS ANTI-FINANCIAL CRIME CHARTER

Westminster City Council, the central London local authority administering some of the world’s most expensive postcodes in Belgravia, Knightsbridge and Mayfair and seen as a haven for oligarchs, has adopted a ground-breaking financial crime policy. Its Westminster Against Dirty Money Charter (1) is designed to stamp out money laundering, fraud and tax evasion in the borough.
