October 1st, 2003 AN ILLINOIS judge has rejected a lead paint lawsuit launched by the City of Chicago, the latest in a long line of failed liability cases. The city had wanted companies, including Sherwin-Williams, to remove all lead-based paint from areas accessible to children in Chicago.
