LEAD BATTERIES GUIDE

BY KEITH NUTHALLA DETAILED manual on disposal, transport and recycling of lead-acid batteries has been issued by the secretariat of the Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and their Disposal. The United Nations convention body has designed the publication as a comprehensive set of policies to reduce the overall impact of these batteries on the global environment.
