KUWAIT/YEMEN – US

THE KUWAIT, Yemen and United States governments have signed two trade and investment deals promoting oil commerce, notably Kuwaiti and Yemeni crude and petroleum product exports to the US and American oil extraction and transport equipment to Yemen and Kuwait. The deals will create US-Kuwait and US-Yemen councils on trade and investment; they would also boost "liberalisation and diversification" said US trade representative Robert Zoellick.
