EU PROJECTS PROMOTE EU BREAST CANCER PERSONALISED MEDICINES

THE EUROPEAN Commission has highlighted a series of European Union (EU)-funded research projects aimed at making breast cancer treatments more effective through personalised medicine approaches. Notably, a communiqué stressed the value of the MINDACT trials, whose results will be available in 2015, assessing how genomic analysis can help physicians better target chemotherapy.
