From Alan OsbornThe European Commission in Brussels today (Thursday) announcedplans to replace 20 per cent of present EU consumption of diesel andpetroleum fuels in the transport sector by alternative fuels by the year2020. It said there were three possibilities: biofuels, which were alreadyavailable, natural gas in the medium term and hydrogen and fuel cells inthe long term.
