Japanese car companies are watching US trade policy closely, following President Donald Trump's decision to scrap the Trans-Pacific Partnership. "It is a bit early to gain a full understanding of the impact of this decision, although we are obviously monitoring the situation closely," a spokesman for Toyota Motor Corp told wardsauto.
