Israel's garment and textile sector has taken a hit due to the month-long war with Hamas, which followed the October 7 attacks on Israel by Hamas. Israel has a small manufacturing sector, with around 4,700 textile workers and 7,400 workers manufacturing apparel, according to the Taub Center for Social Policy Studies in Israel (1).
