INTERNET FEE VARIATION

BY KEITH NUTHALLTHE EUROPEAN Commission has claimed that a competition investigation that it launched last December has been responsible for forcing 18 European airlines to cease charging different prices for tickets on the basis of a customers' country of residence. Brussels claimed at the time that price differences were sometimes as high as 300 per cent, but has claimed that because of its initiative, these price differences have mostly disappeared.
