INTERNATIONAL MEAT TRADE BODIES WELCOME NEW WTO GLOBAL TRADE DEAL

THE INTERNATIONAL Meat Trade Association (IMTA) has welcomed the striking of a new global trade deal by the World Trade Organisation (WTO) which should ease import and customs procedures that can slow the delivery of meat and livestock to export customers.Speaking to globalmeatnews.com, Liz Murphy, the IMTA’s director welcomed the deal saying: “Anything that hopefully points towards reducing the administration of clearing borders has to be a good thing and should be welcomed.”She hoped this WTO deal on trade facilitation would now “materialise into ...
