INTERNATIONAL FINANCING FOR CAMEROON OIL-FIRED POWER PLANT

THE AFRICAN Development Bank, the Netherlands Development Finance Company, and the International Finance Corporation, of the World Bank, are investing Euro EUR66 million in a Cameroon electricity company to help it build a heavy fuel-oil fired power plant. The Dibamba Power Development Company will operate the plant near Douala, Cameroon's industrial centre.
