INTEGRATED TANNERIES

THE INDIAN government is to launch pilot projects setting up large-scale "integrated" tanneries, offering a wide range of products and services, under its 10th Five Year Plan goal of boosting leather exports. Its aim is to boost economies of scale, sharpening global competitiveness.
