INSIDERS KEY TO USD42 BILLION LOST TO FRAUD OVER TWO YEARS, SAYS PWC
March 2nd, 2020 Workplace insiders were linked to 57% of the USD42 billion that companies worldwide lost to fraud over the past two years either directly or through collusion with outsiders, according to PwC’s latest Global Economic Crime and Fraud Survey, ‘Fighting fraud: A never-ending battle’. External perpetrators were responsible for 39% of fraud, said PwC.
