THE INDONESIAN batik industry may be set for record profits in 2015, on the back of strong growth of both the domestic and export market in recent years, according to an industry insider. "Our turnover trade has approximately doubled in the last five years," Dewanto Santosa, director of Batik Danar Hadi, said. "The domestic market has witnessed the greatest growth for our company, but exports remain strong. So it's looking good again this year."
